Chance McConnell
Pastor
Pastor Chance began serving First Baptist Taylorsville as pastor in 2018. Originally from Princeton, Kentucky, Chance has served churches in both Kentucky and Tennessee prior to coming to FBC Taylorsville. Chance is a graduate of Campbellsville University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He is married to Brittany and they have three children: Layli, Kingston, and Robin Cait.
Michael Redmond
Minister of Music and Youth
Michael joined the First Baptist Taylorsville staff in 2021. Michael has heart for both worship and student ministry and desires to serve the church faithfully through leading corporate worship and training students to be disciples for Christ.
Originally from Michigan, Michael graduated in 2020 from Cedarville University with a degree in Youth Ministry, Christian Education, and Worship. Currently Michael is pursuing his masters in Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Michael is married to his wife, Tessa, who serves as a journalist for the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
